Co-Curricular Activities - 2012-2013
Education is never complete if it is confined to activities inside a class room. Co-Curricular Activities provide ample opportunities to draw out the latent talents of a child. It gives vent to the emotional and artistic skills of a growing child, channelising his/her energy to ensure a complete and balanced personality.
In order to bring out the best in each child, we encourage them to take part in various CCA activities planned and executed in the Vidyalaya. The calendar of activities viz. English & Hindi Elocution, Debates, Recitation, Dance Programmes, Light Music etc., are clearly marked and spread out through the year at the very beginning of the academic year. The CCA is held as competitions among the four houses – Shivaji, Tagore, Ashoka and Raman, lending it colour and excitement.
In addition to CCA, the Vidyalaya also celebrated in a befitting manner Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, Hindi Pakhvada, Book Week, Onam etc.
